Arjen de Wolff (1969) is currently the director of Strategy, Innovation and Funding of Cordaid, The Netherlands’ largest agency for emergency aid en development assistance. Previously, he was executive director at Radio Zamaneh. De Wolff lived and worked in the former Soviet-Union and the Middle-East for several years. He was a program director and country director for the US-based Internews Network and the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, working on media, politics, governance and civil-military post conflict work, in various countries, i.a. Syria, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and lastly Iraq. As a journalist for Radio Netherlands Worldwide, he lived in Morocco and Lebanon. De Wolff is a former politician, having served on the district council of Amsterdam, as political advisor and as political secretary in Dutch Parliament.
